Q. Can you arrange shopping tours for large groups?
A. Certainly! Although Let's Go Antiquing! is perfectly comfortable with guiding small groups of one to four, we can accommodate any size group and will arrange appropriate transportation.

Q. What is the cost of your service?
A. Let's Go Antiquing! offers both half-day and full-day packages. The cost is $125 per hour with a three hour minimum for a party of one to four (please call for a quote for larger groups). The half-day tours are usually three to four hours and the full-day packages are approximately from 9:30am to 5:00pm with lunch plans of your choosing.

Q. Can you also make packing and shipping arrangements?
A. Absolutely! New Orleans is world renowned for its wealth of collectible treasures and has subsequently developed excellent professional packing and shipping resources to assist with the movement of these rare and often delicate pieces. Let's Go Antiquing! is thoroughly familiar with the best and most reasonably priced companies in the area and can handle all of the arrangements to have your purchases packaged, insured, and shipped to your destination.

Q. Would it be possible to extend my half-day trip?
A. Visitors to our city are often amazed at the wealth and diversity of fine art, antiques, and collectibles available; and we often get last minute requests to extend half-day trips. As long as there are no scheduling conflicts, we will do everything possible to accommodate these requests.

Q. Are you able to accommodate non-English speaking visitors?
A. Yes! Let's Go Antiquing! can, for an additional fee, arrange to have a translator accompany you or your group during our shopping tours.

Q. I don't plan to be in New Orleans, but can you assist in long distance shopping?
A. Certainly! Let's Go Antiquing! not only takes individuals and groups on customized guided shopping tours, we also offer full-service, long-distance shopping assistance. Simply send us the particulars of the items of interest (Period, Style, Size, etc.) and we can research the local resources, send digital or print photos with dimensions and cost info, make the purchase, and have your selection professionally packed, insured, and shipped. The fee for this service is the same as for our guided shopping tours - one hundred dollars per hour ($100.00/hr) with a three-hour minimum.

Q. What time do the shops in New Orleans open?
A. The majority of the antiquing shops in the French Quarter open for business at 9:30am and the shops on Magazine Street generally open at 10:00am. The shops are open Monday through Saturday, and a few on Sunday; not very many have Sunday hours.

Q. Can you help me to locate a qualified professional to restore antiques?
A. Yes, New Orleans has a large number of artisans, craftsman, and conservators highly experienced in the historical restoration of paintings, gildings, frames, linens, and textiles.
